Overview
Skyloov is a high-traffic property portal in the UAE used by brokers and property seekers to discover listings and generate inquiries.
Despite strong traffic, the platform struggled with low lead conversion. Users were reaching listing pages but many were dropping before completing inquiry forms.
The design goal was to simplify the lead generation flow and increase the number of qualified inquiries sent to brokers.
The Problem
• Users dropped off before reaching the inquiry form
• The form was too long and not optimized for mobile
• Weak visual hierarchy and unclear call-to-action
• Low trust signals on listing pages
Research & Insights
• Analyzed behavior using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Hotjar
• Reviewed session recordings and heatmaps to identify friction
• Conducted competitive analysis across platforms like PropertyFinder and Bayut
• Identified that users needed faster and simpler inquiry actions
The Approach
• Simplified the inquiry form to essential fields only
• Improved CTA placement and microcopy clarity
• Redesigned listing page hierarchy to highlight inquiry actions
• Optimized the flow for mobile users
• Iterated with the development team using A/B testing
Impact
Achieved a 3x increase in qualified leads per day and 25% reduction in bounce rate through a redesigned inquiry flow, validated via A/B testing with the development team
Optimized for a platform that reached 17M+ property seekers and 511M property views within its first year, as reported by Gulf News
Improvements directly increased lead quality for 1,300+ real estate agencies operating on the platform
